Deputy Commissioner (DC) Office, Narayanganj
The DC Office of Narayanganj has been a key government supporter in DDS’s district-level initiatives. From facilitating disability-focused programs to offering administrative and financial assistance during health camps, educational support drives, and awareness campaigns, the DC Office has played a vital role in helping DDS implement inclusive development at the grassroots.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Office, Dhaka
The DC Dhaka office has worked closely with DDS to promote disability inclusion in the capital’s urban areas. Support from this office has strengthened DDS’s advocacy for accessible infrastructure, rehabilitation services, and emergency aid for persons with disabilities, especially during critical situations like floods or winter relief efforts.
Ministry of Social Welfare, Government of Bangladesh
As the registering and regulating authority, the Ministry of Social Welfare has provided DDS with essential guidance and support in line with the Persons with Disabilities Rights and Protection Act, 2013. The Ministry has also extended grants and project-based funding for vocational training, self-employment programs, and awareness-building activities targeting disability rights.
Access Bangladesh Foundation
This leading national NGO has partnered with DDS on several capacity-building and advocacy projects, especially concerning the implementation of the CRPD and the Disability Protection Act. Access Bangladesh Foundation has provided technical support in training programs, inclusive education, and leadership development initiatives for disabled youth and women supported by DDS.
National Alliance of Disabled Peoples Organizations (NADPO)
As an umbrella platform for disability organizations, NADPO has consistently supported DDS by promoting knowledge exchange, organizing joint events, and influencing policy dialogues.
